Adrenaline spike I didn't need this morning

mini-spike when I realized I heard the trash truck but our cans weren't down on the curb

throw on a shirt and my slides to go drag them down before the truck actually goes by and there is a big ass black widow wandering around as I'm trying to pull them out

luckily it was on the ground where I could do a stomp instead of actually on one of the cans where I would have just screamed and cried

now I'm debating coffee because the caffeine will help my headache, but it will also make my heart go way too fast

jeez what a way to start the morning

here's hoping for nothing else to spike it the rest of the day

and I know, I know, they're important to the ecosystem and eat other pests

but keep in mind: I had bare toes sticking out of my slides and they know my family is delicious

(okay IDK that for sure but dad got bit by one when he was a kiddo)

yeah, construction noise is already happening again, and kittycorner neighbor is having a fence redone, which means brother'll be here ...soon, to do the landscaping/rip the vegetation off that fence

also I got a form rejection email where they forgot to fill out the company name and position title, so I'll have to dig thru my list and see what application the email matches up to

not that it matters, I've only got one more week of unemployment anyway

update: made weak coffee it is kind of helping the headache but I think I need actual drugs
