Requesting good vibes for Ziggy Stardust, who was admitted to the veterinary hospital last night with a blocked urethra.

It was caught early, there was no infection, no liver damage, and he's responding well to treatment. He'll be ok. But they have to keep him until he can pee without a cath.

His vet has been great, and sent me a short vid of Ziggy trying to navigate a cone of shame while tripping balls on painkillers.

The clinic says he's doing well and he's expected to be fine and to come home in a few days.

What keeps upsetting me is the thought that since he was a shelter cat that he thinks he's been left.

They let me go back and see him in the exam room before I left him and they admitted him. I've been told that if I did visit him he wouldn't know why I was there and didn't take him with me and it might stress him more
