Fifty years ago, the White City emerged from the depths of the Wildsea, a shining mausoleum of the Pre-V world that was preserved by a white fungus that consumed anything organic that it touched

The few explorers who went in and escaped with their lives brought back wonders of ancient technology of inestimable wealth

Then a few months later the shifting of the seas dropped it back down

And everyone assumed that was the end of that

But just recently, reports started spreading that the White City was back

And this time major factions from across the boughs have all descended on it to scavenge what they can

The fungus is worse than ever, but in the past fifty years various countermeasures have been invented, so the sea surrounding the White City has turned into a multi sided free for all as every crew with more ambition than sense has moved into the area to try and claim an ancient relic for themselves

It's the perfect place for a new crew of wildsailors to make a name for themselves, assuming they don't get murdered by pirates, or crushed by one of the major players making a move on the city, or eaten by crezzerin hating fungi

But if they survive then maybe, juuuust maybe, they could even be the one to reach the heart of the White City and uncover it's secrets
