i'm just having a moment about Hilbert and Hunter, haha

hilbert finally getting over his ego just enough to keep wanting to teach hunter again

the flood & the week before it was really good for Hilbert because two separate people mentioned "yo, you're really good at explaining things" which is something he hadn't really thought about himself before and he actually vocalized some of the reasons he's buttmad about magic as a whole

so time to make a big boy step, get over that, and offer up some help to the kid

\o/ the kid is so ready to talk science with his weird horrible step-mentor

he really likes Hunter! he just fuckin hates Dracula and is permanently grumpy about healing magic

if hunter could use it he would, but he also adores being able to learn how to do it all manually bc it does help! all learning is good learning!
