It's heading east of us too, towards Mississippi and Alabama, and I'm just praying they don't take a hit like the ones we've taken this last week

Heat indexes are in the 110's (43 Celsius and up) and there's still a couple hundred people without power, and damage is everywhere

I've done what I could from here, and am finally tapping out, showering, and settling down to try and actually rest

Dad and I are spending Father's Day, once we've had a nap, going into town to pick up supplies and see what's what around. We were VERY lucky that our only issue was about 26 hours without power and a road we had to chainsaw through.

If you're out east of Arkansas and Louisiana, or hell, in the eastern parts of those states, keep your eyes open and be safe.
