[opinions wanted] should i keep reading Oshi no Ko? (I have just finished volume 1)

cons: I'm not that fond of the basic premise

the protagonist is not very sympathetic to me

and i am not that interested in celebrity culture in general

pros: I hear good things about later volumes from people whose opinions I tend to trust

and i do like Skip Beat which also touches on celebrity culture quite a bit (even if it's more focused on acting as vocation)

hmm, on one hand, volume 1 is really just the prologue, and the meat of the story hasn't really begun yet

one the other hand, I have a hard time recommending a manga if you don't like the premise or the subject matter

I think I might give it one more volume before giving up.
