Well, my brother took his dog in to the emergency vet earlier and now his girlfriend's going over to be there when they put Loki down

Congestive heart failure, apparently, and like... the only thing they'd be able to do for him is give him oxygen and you can't really keep an elderly Chihuahua on an oxygen tank long term

He was a good little dog. Obviously wasn't well when I came home this afternoon but he still came out of his dog bed to wag his tail at me and get petted when he heard me come in
