welp. does anyone have a favorite reddit alternative? they just doubled down on killing the third-party app I use and I can't stand the official one so I guess I'm joining the mass exodus.

........sorry to say there is no good reddit alternative that I've found. Other spaces just aren't 1) anywhere near as curate-able 2) moderated adequately.

Reddit is making changes to their API that will nuke nearly all of the third-party mobile apps people use to access it so they can force people to use the official app

which is... not a good UX, IMO. And lacks functionality that subreddit moderators have grown to rely on, so the masses of literal unpaid volunteers who actually run reddit's communities are understandably pissed

I also find the official app pretty unusable compared to Reddit Is Fun, it feels like a shoddy Twitter clone
