Do it for him
I'll admit, I was kinda conflicted about if I should have Luz at pride, since she's so young...but I realized there was no way that Luz wasn't going to celebrate it at all?
Do it for him
I think it'd be a way for her to think of Amity (of course) but also think a lot on how things are shaping in the LGBTQ community, and how much she imagines will still have to be done.

and that's hard, because being young and queer now is very different from being that way in the 90's, which is where my experience runs, obviously'

and then I figured with Hedwig, Luz would honestly appreciate the way gender is seen in several instances as something more fluid than the rigid roles we assign to them, and Luz would gravitate toward those themes.
Do it for him
She tends to embody gender neutral themes throughout The Owl House (and you can kind of see it in how different she looks younger as opposed to how she looks when she gets older and seems to have more of a grasp of how she wants to present herself).

cannot ever, EVER say I would do this justice as much as someone younger and resembling Luz more would. I just sincerely hope I do not fuck this up.

that being said, with all the sad things Luz got hit with, I really love getting to write her in moments where she's happy and feeling comfortable withe herself
Do it for him
One of the thing I've felt compelled to liking with Luz as a character is how her happiness feels genuine and endearing to the people she directs that at.

meaningless sidenote: since high school I'v always loved Ani's "32 Flavors," though I first heard it in "Living in Clip" so that version will always be my favorite.
