He was brilliant. Mrs. Gingo! worked at Petersen Publishing in Los Angeles in the 70s, before he got his break, and he gave us tickets to one of his first concerts, at the Wilshire Ebell theater. He impressed me so much I've been a fan ever since. RIP, Big Guy

Oh no! He was the first concert I ever went to. I was pretty little and it made a big impression.
