[RP Problems] The problem with wanting to play a comics character is that even if they are from a singular comic written by one author, there's always a crapton of issues to review.

Even when Bill Willingham got SUPER preachy and did far too much culling of the main cast towards the end of the run.

I hate it when authors do that "Oh yeah, I've got to wrap up the threads of about 45 different characters and I'm running out of steam? Oh, um, uh I guess I'll kill half of them off!"

when I first started playing from DC, I played Arkham Knight Jason Todd, because at least he was a video game character and I wouldn't have to catch up on 50 years of comics for him

: Yep. Even with only the main Fables series and not getting into the rather large amount of spin-offs he did, that's 163 issues.

Yeah, the main Fables is where it's at for most of the above, unless I'm playing Cinderella, who got like.....two mini-series cause Bill clearly adored her being badass spy, and Conner since he shows up as a main character in one of the spin-offs.

: That would work for like......half of them at least. Except Charming cause Charming was a dick for about half the run until he finally matured after about 200 years.

i used to play Robert Small from Dream Daddy, and he was close friends to a Bigby and a Logan and we'd laugh because they're basically different shades of the same character. and then i realized "I have a type" because i've played all three. lol
