not sure whether it was the pigeons or some sort of caterpillar attack but one of the lilacs has been badly defoliated.

done some weeding (and picking up of tree debris) in PPE - because I'm allergic to pretty much all of it out there.

probably need to take another antihistamine anyway.

it was somewhat futile because the bin people then failed to empty my green bin despite it being prominently out there and them emptying other people's (at least that of the main road neighbours I could ask).

now not able to fill it up again for a 4 week gap (or even worse) like last summer to autumn.
