I didn't know he was in the adaptation! I still haven't seen it because I loved the book so much and I was really hesitant about a visual adaptation that relies on the characters being fucking blindfolded so much

i can't speak to how good of an adaptation it is, but i CAN say that they've been using a clever mix of like. POV shots where you have limited vision through cloth or newspapers or a painted up windows, and then third person shots

they give you just enough POV shots that you get this very claustrophobic feeling? i think it's done pretty effectively
