[ work blathering ] so, end of this month and i will be out of staples. i originally said start of june but given that i do not have anything stable or another job yet i'm just... going to push through! one more month and we're gone

anyways i'm going to basically be doing nothing but applying for work

i almost feel bad cause like, we're so short on people esp in my department - one girl just left and we got a new one but she's still in training. but there's only 5 people and 3 of them can only work x amount of hours so technically its just me and another guy and honestly? i'm not okay with that

i am not getting paid to train the new girl, i am not getting paid for the insane amount of work that i do in the print center so i'm going to tell my manager tomorrow that i am currently looking for another job. if he wants to keep me, he can pay me more LOL

i did not sign up to shill apps at people, or to push people into filling out service surveys. half of the people i deal with at print center can barely send me an email with their document for printing without me holding their hand.

its a shame cause i do like the production aspect of it, but staples as a company is a garbage dumpster fire and the customers are some of the absolute worst i've dealt with in the last 10 years of working retail

also the MOD i really liked quit last week out of the blue

i like the general manager less and less

and i swear

i get so many people

who are like "oh that other guy who works here is so good he really knows what he's doing, he's the best" blah blah blah to me and will sometimes ask me if he's in and when i say no they'll be like "oh i'll be back"

someone left him a 5$ tip the other day and i thought of keeping it or hiding it

i like him okay except he criticizes me over the dumbest things sometimes
