The peninsula is around 100 miles (160km) end to end. Most of the cities are around 20-30 miles apart, or a solid day’s walk. oh this is nice to see. ill need to recalibrate my brain; based on old info the peninsula was WAY BIGGER and it was hard to imagine anyone traveling around regularly bc of it
iirc it was previously something like 100 miles from bavan to vandare alone which is just. way too long to just have a pop over for the day... 20 miles is SO much more reasonable

I think a lot of the old settings info was written right at the start of the game, so we discussed a few of these points in modchat because... yeah, when you make a setting and then people play in it for the better part of a decade, some things are going to need adjusting
speaking of that, are the cloaked chat rooms mentioned here (where they cannot be seen by gods) still a functionality someone can find poking around? by someone i mean a nosy space rat

Sorry for the delay, had to check with modchat! Yes, they're still around, at least for the time being (we'll be reassessing some things when it comes time to revamp these pages, but that's a few months off yet)
FAQ database has also (as of five minutes ago) been updated to reflect the new structure (added a tab for questions about setting/worldbuilding) as well as to clear up which answers are no longer considered relevant/correct (those are in their own tab now, which should settle any contradictions)
