Shard : Oh, these flags and most U.S. state/city flags definitely don't. There's a dear man who did a whole TED talk on this, and not even from a heraldic-technical aspect as much as Effective Design.

La Comtesse : The Continental heralds did have some of them! 'Rose' (rosé?) is a legit tincture in Europe, and 'tenné' is pretty close to the top Lesbian stripe.

I think if they had web-safe hexadecimal designations back then, they would have used them.
