i mean, compared to the US... am i right in understanding, a few countries will have limited to no more password sharing? or it's 'just" the price hike?

pansikoser : basically you set up a new account under the old account's umbrella. Old account still pays the additional 149php for it, can transfer the profile the sharee was using to it, and is mostly the same except the new account can only use one device at a time.
