Bashou just learning Buson intends to take him and Evie travelling somewhere, then proceeding to plan and prepare more than Buson, who's been thinking of this for days now since hearing about it. Chill, Bashou!
I feel like he'll laze about a bit just to tease him.

... but also, it's a good thing Bashou's prepared, because Buson's philosophy'd probably be "well, it'll work out somehow!" on his own.

bashou Just checking, but Bashou means the Pokemon Center here? Or the one back in Gilterrace with the cafe where he stayed and where Buson worked? Turnbloom's closer to the beach/port, but Gilterrace is on the southern coast, which is exactly where they're headed for Chichi, so they could stop near Gilterrace and walk there for the cafe!

Or does he want to go to the Pokemon Center here in Port Opportune, before they leave? It has a cafe too! ^^

Port Opportune would definitely be best, since otherwise, we'd be making poor Evie wait until she made the journey there to eat anything and she didn't wanna go on an empty stomach, fff.

Gilterrace would be walking a little out of the way into the island, Buson doesn't want to waste time that could be spent exploring the island when it's night!

So, Port Opportune, it is!

Please picture Buson going "I don't wanna order anything, I'm good, just you two eat! :T" then trying to steal from Bashou's plate.
