worn gloves & facemask but not goggles this time; and some of the weeds attacked me plus dust & possibly mould from the sticks.

no good reason to suppose Mars is safe. A pressurised (filtered air with higher O2) padded chamber is a long-term dream. A personal UFO was a more implausible one.
