it's why I thought it was funny because whenever this plot kicked off would've changed drastically. if it was before event 12 he wouldn't have made the offer.
when watching canon or just in general, i tend to forget that lucifer had the mark first. but doing this plot and actually thinking about it more, it's kind of fucking neat
as much as i feel super uncomfortable with my dude being so much in the spotlight and dominating so much plot, it's offset by how much i like watching the way other characters interact with each other as a result of it
