duck bastard
the wireless mouse is doing fine

Calliente
The cats may have turned the touchpad off

Calliente
Many laptops have that feature you can activate through a baffling combination of button presses

Calliente
Check your settings

duck bastard
I did because that was my first thought (taxi as laying next to the laptop when I came back) but nothing

duck bastard
like I can move the cursor! but even when I change the settings to "tap touchpad for click", it doesn't...... click

Calliente
HMMM...

Calliente
Did you try updating the driver? And restarting the computer?

Calliente
Also, apparently disabling the touchpad via the function keys and disabling it via settings are DIFFERENT things

Calliente
So check for a function key + F key combo on your F key bar

Calliente
Make sure you try to toggle it

Calliente
It probably varies which F key it is by laptop

duck bastard
the driver is fully updated, can't meess with it

duck bastard
/sits here whining

duck bastard
i'll try updating the computer in a bit

Calliente
And no luck with the function keys?
