Obviously, different licenses so I get why it has to be separate, and this includes. Yknow.

This isn't even a new app! This is the same one I bought full volumes on almost a decade ago. It just picked up this new subscription option.

Like, I wish they would combine the two as a sub, since the Viz app has most of the SJ app stuff too...

But it's also got Frieren which is worth the price of admission

tbh that probably isn’t their own decision

I’d imagine Shueisha wants to keep their branding and pricing nice and separate and prominent on its own

And this functions for people who’d like to get a wider selection of things that isn’t JUST shounen (even if there is some in here) at a very good price, which is a vastly underserved audience
