I tripped across this show recently; recommended! Astrid et Raphaëlle or in the USA just Astrid on PBS streaming. French cop show; ridiculously well-made, and entertaining. YT doesn't have a trailer that does it justice, so take my word for it

If your Polish friend is a cop show fan I also recommend Delhi Crime and Bon Cop Bad Cop, both on Netflix
