i just started last night and am trying to work out the early leveling sweet spot

oh it's super easy

you can level up right outside of Altair, just get it down to one monster

then I cast blizzard on my whole party with Firion, cure on everyone with Maria, and then alternate attacking Guy with himself or defending until they all had enough HP to just whale on each other over and over

this is my first time playing FF2 and I really enjoy it

this game was definitely ahead of its time
