okay so there's this dating app that's apparently just for single parents, which is all well and good and I don't judge

BUT

the advertising tagline is 'the kids go to bed at 8 but you don't have to'

that made me take a face journey holy shit

and when paired with the horribly awkward date these two people are having it makes it seem like 'put the kids to bed and sneak out of the house to get your ho on'

the first one was just people doing an online chat? and having a glass of wine? And like, that made sense!

but this one was just yeesh

I mean, this exact strategy made Ashley Madison a marketing force to be reckoned with.

IT IS GROSS but there's also a whole segment that reads that, thinks "y'know what, I do deserve sex!" and takes it flat at face value and signs up.

(i agree though this hits the "mommy collects art about how great drinking wine is BECAUSE YOU WERE BORN HAHA" button for me.)

I didn't get that from the first one, but this second one? BOY HOWDY

because it like, every thing one of the couple says it flashes back to earlier in the day dealing with the kids?

and she says 'conference calls' and flash back to getting hit in the face with an open jar of glitter, and he says 'yeah, conference calls' and flash to getting stickers stuck on him by kids during a pillow fight or something

and like why lie?? you both know you're from the Single Parents App
