there was some cryptic video that was made a while ago where the guy playing Phantom said "In character" something like 'I have always been fond of New York' and people think its a sign they'll either

1) bring Love Never Dies to Broadway

2) bring it back as a stripped-down version in a few years

on the bright side, this means regional productions can be done, which means a lot more people can see it live and a lot more talent can be discovered
