Shouldn't they try pulling it out sooner? Then again it's more interesting that they find a proper chef/baker xD

i guess they really didn't need a chef back then since he/she wouldn't do anything helpful for the fight against tsukasa.
ryusui is greedy so yeah, i don't think he's gonna sail with some terrible bread onboard. XD

Yeah not to mention they don't have issues with food during that time.
Being a guy of high standards Ryusui definitely wouldn't accept bread made by amateurs
