ok discord's performance issues are starting to get on my damn nerves

I am 600% certain there aren't any new bots or mechanics that could justify having six categories with like 5 channels each open would crash discord this often so it HAS to be like one of the updates to discord that is tanking performance

i would have the same amount of channels open during e11 and my computer has no problem running that server and that server was pushing it with the max channel limit so like??? hey discord???

I do not think the blame lies with how the events are designed or anything like that since they aren't structured much differently than e11 so like??? what did discord change to make the server use 70% of my cpu and lag this badly

my disco keeps freezing and crashing on desktop so its gotta be a disco problem

i didnt have this bad of an issue with e11 either

i can't fucking believe discord takes only 2% less of my cpu usage than me opening ffxiv to stand in limsa lominsa

i opened ffxiv for the first time in literal months just to confirm this
