ZUN started from 酔 (sui, drunk)

then changed it into 萃 (sui, gather)

also there's an actual explanation for her random shapes on chains

- chains are the mark of an oni

- "The circle is for nothingness, which signifies diffusion; the triangle is for harmony, or collection. The square is for permanence, and stands for the self."

also I had the specifics of the IaMP incident wrong

the problem was that a feast was happening at hakurei shrine every three days and everyone was getting exhausted

and it was suika using both aspects of her ability

diffusing to become the mist enshrouding gensokyo

then gathering people's feelings so that they would gather together and have parties

going over her dialogue in the fighting games, I noticed a pattern

she repeatedly does two things

1: Insist that oni never lie

2: Lie

well that's poor form Suika
