Nameless was only really nameless for about 5 chapters total. He came to consciousness inside of a cold water tank, surrounded by his fellow homunculi. The rest of them looked very blank, but when a mage came down to say that nameless specifically should be used as a battery, he was like "Hm... I am alive, actually. I do not want to die."
And broke himself out of his tank by using the only magic he had at that point. Basically he can break stuff by putting his hand to it and saying the correct words. He doesn't make it very far out of the lab before he collapses. When he was made, he wasn't meant to be able to stand, so he just collapsed on the ground. This is where he meets Astolfo!
Who helps him out just because Nameless asked him for help. Astolfo, Nameless's most loved person and the kind of person that he really looks up to. He also gets to talk to Chiron here, and he learns that his lifespan is 3 years at best. With such a short life, he's told to figure out what he wants to get out of it.
So while he's mulling over that, he splits his time sleeping and trying to learn how to walk. Later on in the night, Astolfo comes back. Because there's a big grail war happening, they're taking advantage of the cover to get Nameless out. They get caught by the Master of Black Saber (Siegfried).
When Nameless is initially caught, he just looks dead inside and hangs limply. Astolfo tells him to fight, because didn't he want to live? So he fights back, ineffectively, but he did attempt to rip that guy's arm off. Anyway he got beaten almost to death for his troubles here... but in Superhell it was fully to death.
So superhell, for him, occurred in that brief minute where he was almost dying and when Siegfried pulled out his heart and made Nameless eat it. In order to remember his hero, he starts going by Sieg, because that's half of the Servant's name.
So the series continues on as normal like nothing has happened because he's definitely not just going to tell people that there is a hell, especially because that's not where Servants go when they disappear. Anyway, at the end of the series he turns into a dragon.
He lives on the other side of the moon with the Holy Grail. If that specific Grail made it back to earth, it would wipe out all of humanity's will, more or less, so he finds it better to just hang out with it far, far away. Anyway if you try to text him, he's going to have some issues...
It's basically that Siegfried has a legend about him being the dragon, so when Sieg got that heart... he also got the ability to turn into a dragon. It's normal and fine.
