i see fifty different iterations of it when i look through wishlists XD

i played an english fan translation patch of a ps2 game that had the original 2 ateliers on it

kinda hard starting off but once you get the hang of it it's surprisingly fun <-personal opinion

The advice I’ve had given to me is

“The beginning of any given trilogy. If in doubt, Sophie or Ryza 1.”

Can’t verify this haven’t played any yet but I plan to once some other parts of my backlog is squared away

I know there's an anniversary remake of atelier Marie coming out which is probably a fine place to start.

ryza has a lot of praise.

I feel like the titles that were transitions to ps3 are weaker if you don't already like the format

and personally I feel GUST was best in ps2 era >.>

though the ps2 atelier games are not the same as traditional atelier games

I really like the ds game atelier Annie as a one off.

(it's part of a trilogy but only that game was released in english)

ps2 marie was a fun game...
