我記得我最早認識坂本老師是因為高中同班同學是Yellow Magic Orchestra的小粉絲（她超前衛的至今仍然覺得她超酷）那時候她推薦我看Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence
但真的被坂本老師的音樂認真打中（？）是因為2016年他幫神鬼獵人做的電影配樂。那是是17歲的我從來沒有感受過的風格，卻意外的帶來那時候的我極為需要的共鳴感。
因為整個編曲作品跟電影劇情環環相扣的關係，對我來說聽這張專輯的時候連結的是電影所帶來的那份解脫感，那種「生命是殘酷的現實卻也是慈悲的解脫，並且每個人都屬於祂」的感覺。從第一次看過這部電影之後，有數不清失眠的夜晚我都是透過坂本老師的音樂尋求到一份冷靜的慰藉的。
