But for starters I'll settle on how it's weird that the goddamned ugliest version of Skeletor is also the most competent and successful one.

Absolute dogwater look. But by far the most clever and manipulative take on the character. Also the only one to actually win until Revelations came along.

Oh, also the first one to have an actual love interest. In a surprisingly functional relationship as I recall. At least as functional as a relationship involving Skeletor can be.
