or maybe just a small planetoid

really I just want to play with the idea of an Orb that large floating above a landscape

... I COULD make it just Obviously Reminiscent of Zeal

big question: should gravity on the orb still be Down, with structures/development either resting on top of or precariously hanging from/clinging to the orb? or should the orb have its own local gravity?

local gravity would be interestingly uncanny, I think, but I do love the aesthetics of architecture that's actively fighting gravity

fucking with composition, I think I'm leaning towards normal gravity

normal gravity does fuck as an aesthetic

local gravity for smaller things than buildings would make sense tho

clouds doin funky things around the orb

towering skyscrapers extending outward to the sides

chunks of rock from the mountains below arcing upward in a lazy orbit

so like the last city from destiny but with actual urbanization on the spheroid, too, siiiick
