most college students are boring

there was a girl in my internship today who said she preferred taking 18 credit hours a semester (the max) because when she's not working she just doesn't know what to do

when I asked the boss of the internship, an art professor, about whether the art industry cared about a portfolio more than a college degree. That girl said she figures that a degree is important because you actually need the experience that college provides

she's not a bad person, just boring

I am of the opinion that almost everything you learn in college irrelevant to your job and is just going to be forgotten. You'll just learn everything you have to at your job anyway

All a bachelor's degree proves is that you could afford to sacrifice a boatload of time and money to show that you can be obedient while doing whatever busywork a crappy job throws at you and be happy about it
