Year of the Cat
Watching a bunch of Netflix documentaries in the background as I write and do tags.
Year of the Cat
For some reason Netflix always does them waaaayyyy better than any other streaming service. They really capture what makes me want to tune in.
Year of the Cat
First up was Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal. I'd heard briefly about some of the stuff the family had gotten up to in the news up it was still interesting to see the rest.
Year of the Cat
Crazy how one family can have just that much POWER to make scandals and bad things go away for their families.
Year of the Cat
Like I've seen that on Law & Order before but this is the only time I've seen such an extensive example of "Powerful family mops up the murders and illegal shit their members do" besides the Durst family as shown in The Jinx.
Year of the Cat
Now it's onwards to MH370: The Plane That Disappeared. I remember seeing this in the news for WEEKS as a teen cause it was just at the time when I was starting to become aware of news sources (TV, newspapers, etc.) and processing the info that came from them.
Year of the Cat
That was an interesting one, more for the POV and theories than any actual concrete "This is what happened" finale.
Year of the Cat
Onto Sins of Our Mother. Guess I'm just doing all the sensationalized news stories ones.
Year of the Cat
Watched Killer Sally and I Killed My Dad, both of which followed similar topics of "I killed the person abusing me." Holy smokes, I Killed My Dad was a bit creepy to follow given my current RP muse because, uh, it turns out I've been very good in delving into the mind of someone abused by their father without ever realizing it.
Year of the Cat
Got a lot of details I'll be able to put into writing from now on. Also I'm glad I Killed My Dad had a MUCH better ending than Killer Sally, that poor woman did NOT deserve to go to jail for 25 years.
Year of the Cat
Now onto the Waco documentary that just came out.
Year of the Cat
The Waco one was SUPER SAD at the end but what can you expect?
Year of the Cat
Now onto "I Am A Stalker" which is interesting. Half appear to understand they did the wrong thing and the other half are complete in denial and in la-la land.
