[Precure] Hirogaru Episode 7: Wherein Sora tries and completely fails at concealing her athletic dominance over middle-schoolers.

this one is late because shortly after I finished watching Precure, I got distracted by someone bringing up the Roblox oof sound which turned into a link to a 2 hour video essay about Tommy Tallarico, which is... honestly kind of relevant to the theme of this week's episode? The universe works in weird ways, okay.

Anyways, the core of the episode can be summarized as such: "Sora tries very hard to not tell the truth." But in the end Mashiro convinces her that being honest is the best way to make friends and get people to like you, so like. Keep being you, Sora.

Anyways, I just kind of cracked up at the fact that her coming to the conclusion that since she'll instinctively answer honestly, she must do her best to maintain a low profile so that nobody asks her any questions she shouldn't answer! ...And then she immediately ruined it because she saw someone hurt and therefore hero instincts kicked in.

Okay, but actual important thing: "Hero girl" is now Sora's nickname and thus we have completed the prophecy that "hirogaru" is also intended to mean "Hero Girl", which was not actually a prophecy and I'm pretty sure was mentioned off-hand in some random interview, but like. Yes, it is now properly part of canon.

Not much to say about this episode otherwise. It was fun, Sora was amazing, Mashiro was amazing.

Oh the Pre-ED was Prism today, and I'm... not sure why. Maybe they're still being decided by votes? Still, Prism wasn't particularly relevant this episode, beyond being Sora's foil as usual.

Next episode, we begin the setup for Cure Wing to make their appearance. At this point I'm estimating like 90/10 chance of Wing being a non-human. (Why yes, I did delete the previous message just to rewrite it. Sorry everyone pinging back at this.)
