harry has a mass on his bladder

feel like im being kicked, hell, stabbed really, when im already down

vet said its probably tcc which would give him a prognosis of a year if we got him surgery... so right now its 'you have unknown amount of time left with him'

im just so bummed out by this... if we hadn't lost miss kitty literally two weeks ago i'd be a lot stronger - harry's over 15 years old so it was an 'eventuality' that something would come for him but hearing he has cancer right after miss kitty suddenly also died of cancer...

we're gonna be seeing our regular vet soon and discuss palliative care for harry

he's still very bright eyed and active and happy, he just has pain when he has to pee, so we're probably gonna see about some pain medicine we can give him until its his time

if he hadn't developed cancer he absolutely woulda been able to live until 20

i lost my dogs at around the same time, like... 2-4 weeks apart. it hurt a lot, but i kind of understood on some level that they were attached to each other and didn't do well separated
