[Sims 4]: BUGS (If you are playing with an infant, you might want to read the bug - skip the rant lol)

I CAN'T FEED THE BABY.

lol I am so mad it's turning into Chinglish

So I found a fix because this isn't a mod conflict, I don't have any that would impact an interaction/ALL interactions.

Basically, causes of this bug to be unable to interact/feed the baby might be:
- Your Sim is famous
- You are not on PC (lol but I am so no one is safe)
- Your Sim interacts with them as a newborn before interacting with them as an infant

Basically, infants need the friendship meter to increase and you'll gradually be able to do more interactions with them. This is how it works for strangers. However, this is also impacting caregivers.

The workaround is to have only ONE Sim interact while it's a newborn and then have another Sim (hiring a nanny works too) introduce you to YOUR OWN CHILD.

Fuck off EA, seriously???

I'm glad the community has figured it out as quickly as they have, but sheesh, why did this not get tested out first?

By my understanding, this is an issue both from the old school pregnancy tactics but also impacting all the new science babies from the new system they introduced with this

I could gripe about other things but lol I just wanna play so bye
