if you didn't see the new geller video, rather than explain what the game is, I'll tell you two facts about it

Fact 1

There's a Karaoke minigame during the story, where you and a friend sing 99 Luftballoons, after which it tells you you can do the karaoke minigame whenever you want

but there's no song selection and no difficulty selection

it's not a karaoke minigame, it's a "singing 99 Luftbaloons at karaoke" minigame

the performance is extremely naturalistic and terrible

Fact 2

At one point, during a cutscene where a discussion is happening over ramen

a disembodied voice with a thick australian accent tells you the history of ramen

it is the only time in the entire game when there is any narration

it never comes up again

my theory on the 99 Luftballons thing is that they originally intended to make a proper karaoke minigame with multiple songs, but they completed the one beatmap, realized how difficult it actually is to make a good beatmap, and decided not to do any others

but kept it in

well yeah, they went to all that effort, don't want it to be wasted

the only thinig stopping me from getting it right now is that it's sixty dollars

and does not strike me as a AAA experience

I watched a complete livestream of this game the week it came out. I, uh. Do NOT recommend it but if you get it cheap enough and have a high enough trash tolerance...
