yeah his health has been a recurring thing ... I'm glad he's getting a week, but he should be getting a whole lot more, as should all mangaka because that schedule is fucking brutal

it does make me wonder, just a bit, if the parts of MHA that didn't Quite Land the way people thought they should have would have been fine if Horikoshi wasn't been driven into a ditch as a result of MHA being one of Jump's headliners.

I don't know if all of them would have ... but there's definitely a bunch of moments where you can see what he was driving at and it would probably work if he had more time to polish it
