The characters all go to a school meant to teach them to become an adventuring party. Everything outside their town IS a typical fantasy setting with them being the most technologically advanced.
Neverafter is the first full horror season and I am enjoying it. S2 of Fantasy High had the first bit of showing off Brennan's chops with running that sort of theme.
after i finish neverafter i really want to check out other campaigns. there's SO MUCH good content, though so idk where to start... i may flip a coin lmfnhrht
there's a really interesting social commentary read on Pinocchio where it's okay for other kids (white kids) to lie and do bad things but if he (a black kid) does it, there are horrible consequences
also, call me sappy, but i also like the idea that he exists and watches "in the woods" and waits for characters to be at the point in their "story" to strike.
