It’s not quite as much as the PS2’s lifespan but it’s hilarious. PS2 literally survived until the PS4.

If you go back to Nintendo’s financial reports quarter over quarter and glance at the Wii section, you’ll see copies of Mario Kart Wii rise all the way into the Switch. They were still pressing discs for not just retirement homes and the like, but hospitals too.
