[Tutor Work] It always makes me kind of sad - and at the same time quietly happy - when I get clients that have no confidence in their English.

On the one hand, god, I got that a lot from schoolmates.

It's inevitable that I'll run into someone that hasn't really grasped the language.

Not to mention, people were always convinced I was an immigrant.

But on the other... that lack of confidence gives them a time to remember where they were still beginners at using the language.

Hopefully I can motivate them to really learn it from back to front. I want my students to flourish at using English.

I also really hope I've made my willingness to answer their questions abundantly clear, because, well, that's what tutors are for, right?
