After having the sketch done for like a full month, I finally finished lining a page of comments for Aimi's SRP. I have four more to go. 🫣

I haven't even STARTED on Kittiya's SRP and I'm just looking at the calendar and sweating buckets. I REEEEEALLY wanted these done before the next event. that may not be realistic, but I am going to TRY

thankfully lining the first page took like.... Ehhhh two hours? which isn't that bad. I also did it on my iPad (which was actually not so bad and the line quality with this brush is pretty nice) so I'm not chained to my desk to work on it

I have many things I want to do before the event drops... I wanna draw my blind date outfits, start my blind dates, and get these srps done!

I also have a topaz fest idea I've had in my head for the past month. it's for quiet because I am not going to draw a crowd like my original loud idea 💕

the fire of an impending self imposed deadline under my ass is truly magnificent

I should probably leave myself at least a week or a few days to decompress before the event so ideally I'd like to have AT LEAST Aimi's SRP done before the end of next week

I ended up working on topazfest and it's almost done..... breathes heavily as I try my best to get everything looking RIGHT

dusts this off to announce 2/5 pages of Aimi's srp comments are lined now \o/ I plan like all my comments on one long canvas that are like 10? comments long? teehee

4/5 lined... I cheated on the 4th one since the original sketch worked for most of it teehee. I can't believe this is going to be finished soon at long last

I'm being so indulgent lately. deciding I'll draw until nearly 4 am two days in a row.

I finished.... it doesn't feel real that the thing I had sitting as a sketch for a month is finally done.... I can't rest yet since we have two weeks before the next event and I still have Kittiya to do. she needs a crumb at long last

it might be confusing that Aimi hasn't like actually quit, buuuuut the intent was to demonstrate that starting over and finally throwing in the towel takes at least some degree of courage since it is like plunging into the unknown

it kind of stems from my mindset while I was going through it with my old job, where I would tell myself "I'll get through this next month and THEN I'll quit," but I really couldn't find the strength to do it and had to be fired to finally get to leave

so... I feel like this mindset makes sense for Aimi. if she doesn't get the instant gratification of her impulse being fulfilled the minute it occurs to her, she loses steam and returns to equilibrium. she's always about sticking to what she knows, and she hates her job, but she can't bring herself to leave.

fun fact: the initial intent was to have her quit immediately, but.... the more I thought about it, it seemed like too drastic of a decision to make for someone as cowardly as aimi, especially when I can imagine actually going home to be a very difficult thing after the fourth impact.

so once she realized her impulse wasn't panning out as she had intended, she did what she often does: she gave up.... on giving up LMFAO.

....i think i should be able to finish the sketch for kittiya's srp this week lining aimi's didn't take as long as i thought it would and kittiya's is a little shorter, so i should be able to finish it before e12
