this highlights a MASSSIVE issue with government in general. There is little to NO representation for the disabled, from the disabled. ADA is great and all, but there are aspects of disability that you only learn about through experiencing them firsthand.
Absolutely. A former college classmate of mine is legally blind and comes across PRINTED Braille on a regular basis. He’s running for local government on an accessibility platform, and the incumbent he’s running against says he’s “anti-business.” Becuase asking that businesses do the bare minimum is apparently a bad thing.
