So I'm a video game tester yeah? I work for a company that outsources testers to clients who need a bunch of testers and stuff

well I'm on a project where we regularly interact with the client company people, and one "complaint" that was brought to us today is that, apparently, our team is extremely fast compared to their team

so there's a concern that we're not paying attention to details

this has lead to all of us, including our lead, being kinda miffed bc, to us, we're just moving at our normal speed

since the test cases are easy and you really just need to play the game as normal to check them off

so we've been grumbling about it all day

so we've concluded that the client testers must suck if they take a whole day to do a testcase we can finish in half an hour

Lmao they really must.....

Or they have a stupid and cumbersome process. Or maybe they don't pay their testers enough.

I think it might be that they have a bit of a high turnover so they always have new testers

which is whatever, but having their lead question us for our experience bc their team is so slow is irksome

Right. That's... wow.
