my least favorite fight in Euphrosyne isn't even any of the bosses

it's the trash mob pull before Halone

because there's three big enemies, who at various points during the pull

do two big circle AOEs and on big donut AOE simultaneously

so you're supposed to avoid the circle ones and hide under the donutt one

I have NEVER seen a tank not fucking tank them all directly on top of each other

so it just becomes "stand far away and also very close or you die"

I once threaded a pixel in one of those clusterfucks because of that and didn’t get a scratch

I felt so powerful

I just die every time

It seems like they’re supposed to each be individually tanked to avoid that but if you have three tanks in a raid at least one is going to be a chowderhead racing to aggro everything ahead of the other two

This is also: why I rarely tank alliance raids in spite of it being my bread and butter

The donut and point-blank aoe's are both interruptible but good luck having enough people in all 3 alliances both aware and capable of that enough to keep them locked down

Having tanks that actually pull them apart feels like a one in a million miracle

I've never seen even ONE of them get interrupted

I hate that fight

had one group once that had a tank that both aggroed them and was constantly running from them around the entire arena.
