He trusts that he wants the same things: that they're both going to do what they can to make sure the ship runs and the people get fed in hard times. I think he's a little reserved because he's seen how upset Sweeney can get over certain

characters on the ship, and I think if he ever let personal bias make him go after someone who hadn't harmed him, that trust would start to wane a little

Absolutely he likes him better, but he didn't take it offensively when he was hit and actually respected him even back then. Trevor's on Sweeney's side in most arguments and appreciates that about him

For animals, he would probably say a big, red bison, someone who needs a lot of room and freedom in a grassy plain somewhere, who is harmless up until he's threatened and then will gore the fuck out of you

Kira🌵 : He trusts Gonou pretty much in the same vein as Sweeney; there's always a life-long hesitancy that comes with being fooled and tricked by others but for the most part he's willing to lend Gonou his life. Breaking trust would be if Gonou lost control on purpose and hurt someone that wasn't him, but I feel that's very easily mended these days
