so i have uh. first two weeks of this month on lock but after than i have no clue where kuja's gonna be because the memshare is very very big & won't know how the game cast is gonna react as a whole until after we've done it
i have smaller things starting to come together; kuja's whole 'become less of a deadbeat dad' arc, the next & final brahne appearance, kuja eventually letting go of her soul and losing the power to trance

: RIGHT im so like. ahhhughgu. really looking forward to where this is going to go. im fairly certain he's talked with... legit all but one or two characters in the game rn at least once and i think i cemented him really well as a fixture of the town before doing this shakeup
i was... nervous in a lot of ways about doing a big "LOOK AT ME~~~" thing with my character, but i think i succeeded in writing something people can engage with at their own level
and i can for people interesting but putting rhe MAJORITY of his scenes on the open is just like 'i do not want to break my character's ability to socialize' LMAO
the town pop just went up by an undisclosed amount that im going to ballpark with 2000 as a low estimate, allowing for 'over half the npcs died before the escape'
i was thinking of having kuja remember something but im not sure what... if he remembered he hates his tail with where he's gonna be after memoria its gonna be rough
i haven't done everything i want to do with him not knowing his purpose yet; i was thinking it'd be cool if he's told what he was for sometime and just says "that's a very easy answer that absolves me of quite a bit of responsibility" because i want to bring out the side of him that's like
he says 'lives come and go all the time' -- but that world of 'life coming and going' is innately more valuable to him than the dead world he's from. he feels ownership of it, like its his own lil ant farm. he'd never place an ant's life over his own.. and then the austice changes hit
kuja already KNEW his actions were (are) wrong; offscreen there was a reckoning where his affection bloomed for the world he was meant to murder and it made him into the 'gleeful villain.' he revels in being provocative because if he doesn't make it fun, what is there? he's still got to kill just the same, until he can finally seize control of the situation.
so im like. idk i think there's a lot i can still do with that, i don't want to resolve that just yet espec when he was a lot going on already this month
yeah kuja's main lost memories are like. very. very significant picks for how he functions and he's emotionally fragile enough rn i don't think its going to put him into a Better place
- war crimes
- kidnapping children
- imperiling teen girls
- sulking about how he didn't get to dump children into lava
